OSINT Training Specialist

About the role
We are looking for an OSINT Training Specialist with a solid understanding of the OSINT (open-source intelligence) / PAI (publicly available information) environment as it relates to defense, security vetting, corporate, and law enforcement intelligence. They will support Fivecast customers by deploying our market leading training programs to ensure they become expert users across our range of software platforms. The roles will support the creation of best-in-class multi-modular, blended learning programs spanning from introductory topics through to train-the-trainer and market leading certified industry programs. The OSINT Training Specialist will work closely with the Tradecraft Team (pre-sales & customer success) to ensure training is delivered to thousands of global users of our software platforms. This is a hybrid role with regular travel (up to 40-50%) required to deliver training to customers across Americas.
Responsibilities:
Training Delivery
- Provide instructor led training to diverse audiences both virtually and in-person
- Deployment of industry leading certification within our training programs
- Support with local logistics required to book and run the training programs
- Processing invoicing and reporting on local budget spend
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Measure and monitor client training participation and achievement of key performance indicators
- Record all attendee participation and distribute accreditation certificates.
- Achieve targets of reaching all customer with training over specified timeframe
Training Development
- Support Training Program Manager with content creation: develop training programs and material: including facilitator guides, participant workbooks, PowerPoint presentation materials, web-based modules, and pre & post exercises and projects
- Provide technical expertise & industry knowledge to the Training Program Manager
- Ongoing evaluation of our current content, research courses in support of the intelligence community for state and federal departments to identify best practices and suggest innovative approaches for improvement to our programs
Cross team collaboration
- Work closely with our Tradecraft teams globally to develop a strong understanding of how our products are used by our customers to become an expert user of Fivecast software products
- Work closely with our Product Management team to be aware of the product roadmaps, new features and releases, and changes to the user manual
- Work alongside our UX Design team when developing training elements, to ensure they are congruent with the user experience and our design process
Requirements
- Understanding of the OSINT (open-source intelligence) / PAI (publicly available information) environment as it relates to defense, security vetting, corporate, and law enforcement intelligence
- Demonstrated experience as a facilitator and delivering technical training courses to diverse audiences such as intelligence, law enforcement, or other agency sectors with an intelligence analysis or assessment function
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity developing training content within various Learning Management Systems (LMS), utilizing multiple formats and delivery systems (e.g. video editing, audio recording, xAPI, SCORM, Microsoft suite, Docebo)
- Stakeholder management skills, being able to ensure the right teams are up to date on your work progress and timelines
- Organized, proactive with the ability to be self-motivated and work with a high level of autonomy
- Ability to digest technical information and transform that into content suitable for delivery
Desirable Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in Learning Design, Communications, Education, Language Studies or similar
- Experience in technical training, learning & development, ideally within a software company
- Knowledge of adult learning theory, principles of learning experience design, design frameworks and evaluation rubrics
- Knowledge of current defence, intelligence, counterterrorism, counter-intelligence, cyber threats, or border security issues
