is looking for anOSINT analyst with special investigative tasks/OSINT analyst with special investigative tasks - Arabic - (f/m/d) as soon as possible, on a permanent basis. Reference number: 2-159-24 Pay group: EG 12 TV-L Full-time with 39.4 hours per week (part-time employment is possible if necessary) Location: Ringbahnstraße 123, 12103 Berlin Tasks

  • They deal with the occasion-related research of public and publicly accessible phenomenon/crime-related Internet content,
  • You document the research results in a way that is reliable and usable in court and represent them appropriately (e.g. as a witness in court),
  • They appropriately distribute the relevant knowledge obtained to the users,
  • They support police operations in live monitoring of public sources,
  • They evaluate online communication behavior on phenomenon-relevant websites,
  • They identify users behind accounts and operators of websites and can geolocate users if necessary.
  • You prepare evaluation reports and, if necessary, presentations,
  • You will provide support in telecommunications surveillance measures and in internet-specific matters of other departments,
  • They participate in training and further education opportunities.

In order to carry out the tasks, it is necessary to complete the security clearance (SÜ 2). The prerequisite for this is that you have had your main residence in the Federal Republic of Germany for the last 5 years. Profile: a completed bachelor's degree in the field of social or political sciences or a comparable course of study (with a focus on the Internet) or at least five years of comparable professional experience and in-depth knowledge of the phenomenon of Islamism. In addition to the formal requirements, you have:‍

  • demonstrable advanced knowledge or experience in the field of Internet research and evaluation of publicly available data,
  • linguistic competence in German at least C1 level,
  • Interest in geopolitical, social and economic issues in order to be able to recognize relevant trends and developments,
  • A confident understanding of text and content in Persian is desirable,
  • Experience in using analysis or evaluation software is desirable.

  • Stress resistance and psychological resilience in dealing with serious violent crimes as well as personal stress management,
  • strong analytical skills and solution-oriented work, service orientation,
  • high degree of endurance, resilience, reliability, independence and organizational thinking as well as willingness to perform,
  • Your willingness to work on call and outside office hours on weekends and public holidays, as well as, if necessary, on a needs-based basis, putting private matters aside and completing a security check (SÜ 2).
