Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 5+ years of experience in OSINT investigations, corporate security, intelligence gathering, law enforcement, or cybersecurity.
• Experience conducting threat assessments, fraud investigations, brand protection, or social media monitoring.
• Previous work with law enforcement, government agencies, or corporate security teams is a plus.
• OSINT-Specific Skills
• Social media intelligence
• Knowledge of geolocation techniques, metadata analysis, and image verification.
• Familiarity with counter-OSINT techniques to protect company assets.
• General Investigative & Security Skills
• Experience with threat intelligence, risk assessment, and corporate security policies.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to verify and assess intelligence sources.
• Knowledge of legal and ethical considerations in OSINT investigations (e.g., GDPR, data privacy laws).
• Ability to compile and present intelligence findings in clear, concise reports for stakeholders.
• Ability to work with cybersecurity teams, law enforcement, and legal departments when required.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Cybersecurity, Intelligence Studies, Security Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Preferred Certifications:
• Certified Open Source Intelligence Professional (COSINTP)
• GIAC Open Source Intelligence (GOSI)
• Professional Certified Investigator (PCI)
