The Role
We are looking for a Cyber Security Consultant to join our dynamic team. As a Cyber Security Consultant, you will leverage your professional experience to conduct cyber incident exercises, and consultancy skills to help organisations become more secure. You will be involved in designing bespoke cyber incident exercises, supporting organisations in understanding and improving their cyber security posture and supporting our customers.

Location Requirements
This role is based in Belfast and on-site work with clients will be required most weeks. Therefore, candidates should be located in Northern Ireland.

Day to Day
- Design, develop and facilitate cyber incident exercises (both tabletop and live play) for organisations globally.
- Manage and conduct Cyber Assessment Framework assessments and reporting, risk assessments and provide guidance on Cyber Security issues.
- Lead client engagement in scoping, reporting, and debriefing of security assessments using frameworks and certifications including ISO27001, SOC2, and others as required.
- Contribute to cyber maturity assessments using frameworks such as NIST and CAF.
Need to Have
- At least 2 years relevant work experience in the Cyber Security or IT industry.
- Ability to conduct risk assessments in alignment with NIST and other industry frameworks including CAF.
- Experience with ISO27001, SOC2 and other certifications including Cyber Essentials.
- Proven understanding of vulnerability assessments and penetration testing using industry-standard tools.
- Strong background in OSINT techniques for assistance with creation of realistic Cyber Incident Exercises.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client management.
- Proven experience and knowledge of Data protection requirements in UK & EU.
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
Nice to Have
- Experience with NCSC Assured Service Provider and related schemes including CIE, CHECK, Assured Cyber Consultancy, Cyber Advisor and Cyber Essentials.
