Threat Intelligence Analyst

• MUST reside in the Jacksonville, FL immediate area - NO Relocation fee provided. This position is in office Monday through Friday.

What this Role Will Do:Threat Monitoring and Analysis:

• Continuously monitor various threat intelligence sources, including open-source intelligence (OSINT), dark web forums, and proprietary feeds, to identify emerging threats relevant to the organization.
• Analyze threat data to understand adversaries' tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) and assess potential impacts on the organization.

Incident Response Support:

• Collaborate with the Incident Response team to provide intelligence during active security incidents.
• Assist in the identification and analysis of indicators of compromise (IOCs) and recommend mitigation strategies.

Reporting and Documentation:

• Produce detailed threat intelligence reports, including assessments of threat actors, attack vectors, and potential risks to the organization.
• Maintain an up-to-date threat intelligence database and ensure proper documentation of all findings and analyses.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with other cybersecurity teams, such as Security Operations Center (SOC) analysts and vulnerability management, to share intelligence and coordinate defense strategies.
• Provide briefings and presentations to stakeholders on the current threat landscape and recommended security measures.

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity trends, threat actors, and emerging technologies.
• Recommend and implement improvements to threat intelligence processes and tools.
• Other duties as assigned.

You’ll be great fit if:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field
  Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or GIAC Cyber Threat Intelligence (GCTI) are preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 2 years focused on threat intelligence or related roles.
• Proven experience in analyzing cyber threats and producing actionable intelligence reports.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in using threat intelligence platforms and tools.
• Familiarity with common cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK, NIST).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
