Job Title: Senior OSINT Analyst (Manager)


Location: Remote - UK / EU based


About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior OSINT Analyst/Manager to lead our OSINT research team in conducting advanced research on people, groups, companies, and other entities. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing and executing various research projects, researching threat actors, and providing strategic analysis of current and emerging situations and events. Responsibilities:Lead and manage the OSINT research team, setting project priorities, assigning tasks, and ensuring high-quality work output. Conduct advanced OSINT research using a variety of tools and techniques, including but not limited to, social media monitoring, advanced search engines, web scraping, data analysis, and network analysis. Research and analyse threat actors, their motivations, and their capabilities, providing actionable intelligence to internal and external stakeholders. Provide strategic analysis of current and emerging situations and events, including but not limited to, geopolitical events, cybersecurity incidents, and business disruptions, by identifying and monitoring key indicators, and producing reports and briefings that provide situational awareness, insights, and recommendations for action. Identify emerging trends and threats that may impact the organisation or its interests, and provide recommendations on potential mitigation strategies. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including law enforcement agencies, government entities, and industry groups, to enhance intelligence collection and analysis capabilities. Train and mentor junior OSINT analysts on the latest techniques and tools for conducting OSINT research. Requirements:Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as intelligence studies, international relations, cybersecurity, or computer science. A Master's degree is preferred. At least 5 years of experience conducting advanced OSINT research in a corporate or government environment, with demonstrated experience leading projects and teams. Expert-level knowledge of OSINT research techniques and tools, including social media monitoring, advanced search engines, web scraping, data analysis, and network analysis. Proven ability to research and analyse threat actors, providing actionable intelligence to internal and external stakeholders. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear and concise reports and presentations to technical and non-technical audiences. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines. Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including law enforcement agencies, government entities, and industry groups. Strong attention to detail and ability to think critically and creatively.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience in cyber threat intelligence and knowledge of current threats, actors, and tactics.
* Familiarity with the legal and ethical considerations of OSINT research.
* Experience with project management methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum.
* Familiarity with emerging technologies and their potential applications in OSINT research.
* Knowledge of geopolitics, political science, and international relations.
* Experience with research in the fields of terrorism, organised crime, or counterintelligence.
* Strategic Analysis

Responsibilities:
* Conduct ongoing monitoring of key indicators in order to produce reports and briefings that provide situational awareness, insights, and recommendations for action. * Develop multiple hypotheses on current and emerging events and situations, and test those hypotheses through OSINT research and analysis.
* Provide comprehensive, unbiased, and actionable intelligence to decision-makers, using a range of analytical techniques and methods.
* Develop and maintain a strong network of contacts, both within the organisation and external to it, to facilitate intelligence collection and analysis.
* Conduct comparative analyses of situations and events in different geographic regions, with a view to identifying trends and emerging threats.
* Identify potential gaps in the organisation's intelligence collection and analysis capabilities, and provide recommendations for addressing those gaps.
