Role
Claudius Research are recruiting investigators for a new, small, but specialised team where you will become a subject matter expert in researching, collecting, and analysing information.
You will become highly conversant in the use of a variety of open-source investigative techniques, aided by some of the most advanced proprietary tools available. You will be conducting ‘deep-dive” research into historic ‘cold cases’, comprising of people, companies and events, or issues of interest to our client base.
Besides an interest in open-source investigations and technologies, a natural sense of curiosity and tenacity would see you excel very quickly, while a strong sense of integrity, especially justice, should see you become passionate about our work.
Naturally, you should be able to work independently and deliver on projects under time constraints. You will be judged entirely on your character, and on the work you deliver. As such, you will find a a lot of apparent leeway when compared to other offices, but also a ruthless appreciation of effort. This position requires high levels of resilience, discretion and honesty.
Location
Remote (plus, an initial 3-4 day onboarding process in person and monthly meetings).
You will be part of a team effort, but will often find yourself working problems by yourself for hours at a time. There will be plenty of support with one-on-one coaching, and direction and you will have office staff on hand to assist you, as well.
Requirements
* You have a minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience as an open-source
intelligence practitioner.
* You have proven experience in social network analysis and mapping.
* a strong understanding of researching methods and social networking tools
* You are able to confidently report and understand the intelligence cycle.
* You have the ability to keep focused and be organised in your research.
* You can think of novel solutions to problems, ‘think out of the box’,
* You can work under your own initiative, and are not sensitive to taking direction.
* You must also have the right to work in the UK.

Salary and Benefits
* £35,000 to £50,000 per annum depending on experience
*Bonus up to 25% of annual salary
