Job Title: Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) Analyst

Overview:

Samaritan Protective Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) Analyst to join our team on an ad-hoc basis. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in collecting, analyzing, and disseminating open source intelligence to inform and guide decision-making processes within the organization.

This position requires a deep understanding of geopolitical threats and the global risk landscape, with the ability to communicate key insights effectively to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collection & Analysis:

- Use industry-standard practices and methodologies to gather open source intelligence from publicly available data, social media, news sources, databases, forums, and other open platforms.

- Conduct deep research into geopolitical developments, emerging threats, and risk trends affecting operational environments and business interests.

- Analyze data to identify patterns, trends, and potential risks related to geopolitical, security, and business continuity threats.

2. Intelligence Production:

- Develop and produce detailed intelligence reports, briefs, and products, including assessments of potential threats to company operations, personnel, or assets.

- Provide comprehensive geopolitical risk analysis for various regions, focusing on potential security implications for the organization and clients.

3. Reporting & Dissemination:

- Regularly update and brief senior leadership on findings, emerging trends, and actionable intelligence.

- Deliver clear and concise written reports as well as verbal presentations to decision-makers, ensuring they are informed of relevant global developments that may impact operations.

4. Collaboration & Coordination:

- Work closely with internal teams such as security, operations, and crisis management to provide intelligence support.

- Coordinate with external partners, agencies, and intelligence sources to augment open source findings where appropriate.

5. Monitoring & Real-Time Intelligence:

- Maintain ongoing monitoring of key geopolitical and security issues that may affect the organization's global operations.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of verifiable experience in an intelligence analyst role, with specific experience in open source intelligence (OSINT) collection and analysis.

Education: A degree in Political Science, Security Management, Intelligence Studies, or a related field from a recognized institution.- Skills & Competencies:

Strong understanding of geopolitical issues, international relations, and global risk landscapes.

Proficiency in using industry-standard tools for OSINT collection, including social media monitoring platforms, databases, and specialized software.

Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality intelligence reports, briefs, and assessments.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Experience briefing senior leadership and providing actionable intelligence insights.

Additional Requirements:

Flexibility to work both remotely and in-office as needed, with the ability to respond quickly to intelligence demands.

Strong ethical standards and adherence to intelligence community guidelines on collection and dissemination practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in geopolitical threat and risk assessment for a corporate security team or government agency.

Familiarity with various security and threat landscapes across different global regions.

Advanced certifications in OSINT or Intelligence Analysis are highly desirable.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
