Areas of responsibility

  • You are an ambassador of the Group Cyber ​​Defense organization to the operational teams within Helvetia Italy. You will be in the lead for aligning Helvetia Italy's cyber defense activities with the group framework and locally extending it where needed. You will be responsible to integrate the group wide cyber defense governance and control capabilities and identify and build additional local capabilities, where needed.
  • You check Helvetia Italy and its subsidiaries for possible gaps in the local implementation of the group's and local cyber defense requirements and communicate any gaps to the appropriate recipients and ensure suitable measures are taken
  • Using continuous cyber defense controls and cutting-edge cyber threat data analytic methods, you investigate anomalies independent from operational units to monitor, oversee and inspect them in the identification, prevention, and detection of cyber threats. Where a threat manifests, you work proactively and closely with operational teams to ensure a proper response to cyber threats and improvement in cyber defense.
  • In the event of attacks, you examine, scrutinize and enforce appropriate response measures to effectively and sustainably avert damage to Helvetia
  • You use your hunting instinct and cool head to get to the bottom of suspicious activities and analyze anomalies with the aim of detecting cyber attacks that where not avoided or sufficiently identified by the operational security measures.

Skills sought

  • Professional experience in cyber security.
  • You know how to convince and mobilize different stakeholder holders across an organization.
  • Experience in managing security Incident management processes and procedures
  • Knowledge of Information Security best practices, standards and frameworks (ISO 2700x, NIST, OWASP, OSINT, MITER ATT&CK, ITIL, etc.)
  • Experience in managing, orchestrating and overseeing the response to cyber attacks.
  • Strong propensity for teamwork
  • Proactivity and excellent problem solving skills
  • Good knowledge of written and spoken English.
  • Experience analyzing and managing security events and incidents in Cyber ​​Defense teams or contexts such as MSSP or SOC.
